Pokemon Go February 2022 Field Research Breakthrough, Tasks, And Rewards

We’re already a month through 2022, which means Niantic has added a fresh slate of Field Research tasks to complete in Pokemon Go for the month of February, and a new reward for breakthroughs in Espurr.

To achieve a Research Breakthrough, you’ll need to collect stamps by completing the Field Research tasks. Only the first task of each day gets you a stamp, however, so you’ll need to complete one per day for a week in order to unlock the Research Breakthrough rewards and encounter, with this month’s being the psychic kitty Espurr.

To receive new Field Research tasks, you’ll need to venture out to your local PokeStop. One task from the pool below will be randomly selected for you when you spin the Photo Disc for supplies, with each completion netting you rewards along with the aforementioned stamps. The list of available tasks and corresponding rewards is below. Come from Sports betting site VPbet

Star Wars Outlaws Creative Director Reveals Length Of The Game

During Ubisoft Forward, players got their best look yet at Star Wars Outlaws, the new open-world game that reminds us of an Uncharted title. The leading character, Kay Vess, can do a lot in the game including combat, stealth, and pilot flying vehicles. Now, Star Wars Outlaws creative director Julian Gerighty is letting gamers know how long they’ll be able to guide Kay’s adventure.

“Very, very early on, we decided this is going to be a 25, 30 hours golden path adventure,” Gerighty told Video Game Chronicle. “50 hours, 60 hours for completionists, and that is, for a guy with a family and a job, it’s still a fair amount of time… That allows us to really focus on the detail, it allows us to focus, maybe with a smaller team, on executing something that is manageable.”

While Gerighty stressed that the initial vision for the game is largely intact in the finished title, the team had to abandon playable scenes that called for Kay to swim. Come from Sports betting site VPbet

“We wanted swimming, like the first few iterations of the pitch that we did, we’d have loved to have had swimming,” explained Gerighty. “It’…

Entain Secures £585 Million Provision For Potential Bribery Fine

It was recently reported that Entain, a flagship sports wagering, interactive entertainment and gaming firm, has secured a “£585 million provision in respect of its ongoing deferred prosecution agreement (DPA) negotiations with the Crown Prosecution Service (CPS).”

DPA negotiations:

The firm formerly reported an investigation by His Majesty’s Revenue & Customs (HRMC) into its now-former Turkish business, which was officially sold during 2017, and later revealed that was “in DPA negotiations with the CPS to resolve the ongoing HMRC investigation.”

However, the DPA discussions have now advanced to the stage where Entain thinks it is possible to reach an agreement to resolve the HRMC investigation “as it relates to the company and the group.” It is feeling very self-assured as it has taken a provision of £585 million which it projects to be fully paid over a period of 4 years in connection to the supposed offences under Section 7 of the Bribery Act 2010. But, the aforementioned provision was struck on the presumption that the firm will get “full credit for its extensive co-opera…

Historic Cal Neva Resort to Reopen under New Management

The iconic resort has a rich history dating back to the 1920s and was one of the region’s leading casino resorts until closing down in 2013 amidst renovations. McWhinney’s substantial industry experience will be instrumental in restoring Cal Neva, updating it to reflect the needs of modern customers while retaining its historical value.

Recent Years Have Been Unkind to the Famous Resort

Cal Neva Resort & Casino’s long and storied history began in 1926. The venue was a luxurious retreat for Hollywood celebrities like Sammy Davis Jr, Tony Bennett, and Marilyn Monroe. The following years saw several renovations and additions until Frank Sinatra purchased the property in 1960, turning it into a gambling and entertainment hub.

Luxurious accommodations, a live performance showroom, and a casino with slot machines and table games cemented Cal Neva’s status as a premiere destination among tourists and locals. However, the venue closed for renovations in 2013, and its owner filed for bankruptcy. Another developer then purchased the property, planning t…

Microsoft Ties Recent MGM, Caesars Attacks to Octo Tempest

A new report by Microsoft has tied the recent cyber attacks against Caesars Entertainment and MGM Resorts International to a broader hacker collective known as Octo Tempest. The attack was perpetrated by another collective, Scattered Spider, but they have been working with the notorious establishment that has been known for many successful attempts on wealthy individuals’ wealth and assets.

Microsoft Outlines the Octo Tempest Threat to Cybersecurity

The bad actors have used a popular hacking tactic known as social engineering, whereby the hackers obtained enough information to convince relevant parties to be granted access to certain aspects of a company’s operations. For example, a hacker who has the right information and input, can call the information technology department of a company, and request new login credentials.

This is believed to have been leveraged against Caesars Entertainment and MGM, with

An environmentalist brawler is the second Black Game Developer Fund game that Humble will publish-

Humble launched the Black Game Developer Fund in 2020 with a pledge of $1 million per year toward projects from Black indie devs, and the program has since funded over 30 games. BGDF funding doesn’t guarantee that Humble will go on to publish the game itself, but the company did ink a deal with upcoming BGDF-funded game Protodroid DeLTA, and now it’s done the same with a second game.

Breeze in the Clouds, a game about a corgi who winds up on an adventure in a “weather world,” will also be published by Humble, the company announced during its 2023 Humble Showcase.

The weather world is inhabited by weather-related characters, naturally, and its villains are pollution-themed troublemakers. Our hero, Breeze, combos the crap out of pollution—just like Captain Planet preached—with weather magic like a cloud mallet and a tornado attack.

By far the best thing about the new trailer, though, is that Breeze goes “arf” each time he lands a strike. Aw.

The combat looks pretty serious, though. “We wanted Breeze to feel like a very free-formey, combo-centric game,” says creator SrBilyon Harris, “So Breeze is able to do these cool, weather-based attacks…

Google looks intent on breaking the business of the internet, and AI won’t fix it

This week I’ve been: visiting my home country of Wales in the metaverse. Oh, with all this AI stuff you forgot about the metaverse, huh?

How did we get ourselves into this mess? A handful of companies claim to oversee a service contributed to by billions of people across the globe. We’ve become so reliant on Google to point us in the right direction that the company is now able to wield a sense of ownership over the content it’s supposed to be signposting. A handful of executives at Google shouldn’t have the power to change the internet, yet they do. They are. And there’s seemingly little we can do to stop them.

Google unveiled many new features coming to Google Search at Google I/O this week, the most notable being AI Overviews. These are designed to answer user’s queries quicker: You type or speak a query into Google search, Google finds an answer, and generates a response. Right there on the page.

“Google will do the Googling for you,” says Liz Reid, Google’s head of Sear…
